Administrator in Training

Administrator in Training

Our Future Leaders
Gulf Coast Health Care is proud of their Administrator-In-Training Program…training leaders of the future to care for our elderly. Our goal is to recruit and develop the skills of our future leaders so they gain the knowledge to one day manage our centers.

How Does It Work?
Gulf Coast Health Care offers qualified individuals who want to grow within our organization the opportunity to experience the Administrator-In-Training program. The Administrator-In-Training is a paid position and can be completed within six months or one year depending on which degree the individual currently holds. At Gulf Coast Health Care, we see this program as not just a job, but as an adventure into the long-term care industry and our family. Once you complete the screening process and have been selected into the program, you will begin working under the guidance of a preceptor to meet the requirements of the state.

At Gulf Coast, we believe our AIT’s should experience the role and functions of each department. After successfully receiving your state and national license, your next step will be to begin your journey as an Assistant Administrator at one of our locations until you are placed at your very own center. Our commitment with the AIT Program is to not only train associates to become Administrators, but to empower them to be passionate about what they do and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Applicants interested in participating in the AIT Program must have a minimum of a 4 year degree; preferably healthcare related or has experience in the healthcare industry.
